Demonstration 28.2. 14Uhr Dresden
Dear people of Germany
During the last few weeks more than 100,000 people have been going onto the streets in Germany against groups like “PEGIDA”, against xenophobia and racism. That is very encouraging. We could live together in this world with mutual respect for our origins, gender, religion, sexual orientation, skin color etc. The right to asylum is a precious commodity that must be protected and defended.
Mutual respect and solidarity are a common concern of refugees and the rest of the population in order to create better living conditions for all and to defend liberty and democracy. Those of us who are asylum seekers would like to contribute to improving the situation in Germany. We would like to have the opportunity to discuss with people in Germany, to tell our stories and to inform them about our current circumstances.
