International Women’s Day
Rally at Eisenhüttenstadt
Time: 12:00 – 15:00
Solibus leaves from Oplatz – 10:00
On 8. March this year, we invite you to join us our rally outside the camp in Eisenhüttenstadt.
We want to be “loud and clear” and say “No to racism, sexism and discrimination“. We want to denounce the hatred and discrimination that most politicians are directing against asylum seekers and migrants. The scapegoating of asylum seekers for all the problems in this country.
We will say NO! It is your dirty racist politics that stinks!
The next elections, on 23 February, will determine the political winds. The elections will show whether the majority has chosen humanity over the tyranny of the rich and powerful. We have already begun to experience the rise of institutional racism and racism on the streets. Some of us have been the victims of physical assault and abuse by strangers, while others have been the victims of abuse by neighbours. This must stop, and it can only stop if we are united in the demand that ‘human dignity’ is a fundamental right.
Therefore, we must show solidarity with those who are most affected and who have neither the power nor the right to express their rights through the ballot box.
Let us join hands and let us say it “Loud and clear”:
The right to come, the right to go and the right to stay!
